Hi, I’m Elizabeth. I’m a journalist and trend reporter working across features, lifestyle and travel. Originally from London, I have been based in Barcelona since 2019. 

Within features journalism I like writing about the way we live and work (such as the rise in home swapping), telling stories about interesting people (like the new-age mystics making money on social media) and shedding light on topics that don’t always get attention (for example, egg freezing abroad.) On the lifestyle side I often dive deep into beauty trends such as demystifying skin supplements or unpacking lab-grown ingredients while my interest in interiors has led me to write about some beautiful homes. 

When it comes to travel, I primarily focus on the country I call home and regularly write about Barcelona and destinations across Spain via first-person reviews, hotel round-ups or city guides.

My work has been published by the BBC, Breathe, Courier, Dazed, ELLE, Grazia, House & Garden, i-D, Marie Claire, National Geographic Traveller, Refinery 29, SUITCASE, Stylist, The Evening Standard, The Face, Glamour, The Independent, The Times, Time Out and Women's Health. In terms of editing and commissioning, I have previously held titles at Psychologies (Acting Wellness Director) and Oh Comely (Contributing Editor).

Alongside journalism I frequently write trend reports for WGSN and Stylus, create commercial content for Guardian Labs, Hearst and The Telegraph and work with brands like Matches Fashion, Pai Skincare and Sunday Riley on editorial and copywriting projects.
